Courses Offered

The Department of Sociology a three-years undergraduate course under B.A. programme. In the duration of these three years, students are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the structure, dynamics, and functioning of societies, including the various social institutions, norms, and values that shape human behavior and interactions. Students are encouraged to apply sociological theories and concepts to real-world issues and challenges, such as poverty, crime, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability, with the aim of promoting social well-being and positive change.
