Achievements /Distinctions of the department

Add on/ Certificate Course started on 25/01/24 in Folk songs of U.P. & Rabindra Sangeet carries 3 credits (30 hours).

• Adya Sharma got 1st prize in music vocal in the compitition of "Face of Prayagraj" She won the title also held on 16/07/23.
• Adya Sharma secured first position in "classical music competition" from "Sangeet Nakat Akadmi Lucknow" held on 26/10/23
• Students won First prize in Bhajan (Group) singing competition organized by Ishwar Saran Degree College, Prayagraj on 31/10/2023.
• Students won First prize in Lok Geet (Group) singing competition and Third prize in Light Music (Solo) singing competition, organized by Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Allahabad on 12/01/2023.
• Alumni Music (Vocal) Ms. Shruti Tripathi got admission in Ph.D in Faculty of Music & Fine Arts, University of Delhi on 20/01/2023
• Ms. Divya Gupta student of Music (Tabla) got admission in Ph.D in Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Allahabad on 20/10/2022
• Ms. Arpita Yadav, student of Music (Tabla) secured First Rank in U.G. exam (3rd Year) and topped in College Merit List session 2022-23.
• Students presented Hori Geet in the Cultural Programme "Vasantika". Held on 06/03/2023
• An International Webinar was organized by the Department. The topic was “The Tradition of Indian Music & it’s Changing Dimensions” on 24th & 25th July 2020.
• 'A Bihu Workshop’ was organized by Music Department with the collaboration of North Central Zone Cultural Center(N.C.Z.C.C.) Prayagraj, in which 40 students of college had participated and finally performed in Rashtriya Shilp Mela on 4th December 2019. The Recourse Person was Ms. Sangita Burmen.

• Ms. Pooja Pandy, B.A. II year (Vocal) secured second position in folk song competition organized by the Department of culture, U.P on Kumbh Yuva Mahotsav -2019.
